 THE UNION CAMPAIGN IN DEFENSE OF CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS:

 WE ARE AGAINST THE CURFEW IN SAMARA REGION

VICTORY OF REASON: INTRODUCTION OF THE CURFEW FOR TEENAGERS IS UNLAWFUL, SAMARA REGIONAL COURT DECLARED: On February 8 Samara Regional Court declared in its decision that the anti-constitutional amendments to the regional administrative law, introducing penalties for presence of persons under 14 years old without their parents at night time (10 pm – 6 am) at public places (streets, parks, squares, courts, railway stations, airports, entertaining places and somebody else's houses), are unlawful. From the initial consideration of these amendments the Union objected to their introduction.

ON NOVEMBER 25 THE UNION RALLIED AT SAMARA REGIONAL PARLIAMENT TOGETHER WITH ITS ALLIES IN DEMOCRATIC COALITION

On October 10 the Progressive Youth Union appealed to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, on October 11 the Union Leader Alexander Andreev spoke at Samara Regional Parliament

On October 5 Progressive Youth Union arranged a piquet at Samara Regional Parliament to oppose the curfew introduction for teenagers in Samara Region
